The Road by Cormac McCarthy

Cormac McCarthy’s The Road is a classic post-apocalyptic novel. As The Father and his son navigate the harsh reality of their world, he stops at nothing to keep his son alive. Every single obstacle he overcomes is a testament to how much he loves his son.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Pride and Prejudice is Jane Austen’s most famous work. Not only are the characters timeless, but they are also relatable. The Godfather by Mario Puzo

Being the head of the mob means you adopt a whole other family. The “Capo” of the mafia is someone everyone looks towards to make important decisions. He appears to be a ruthless gangster to those who disrespect him and betray him, but the community that he builds works as a family. He made plenty of sacrifices so his family could survive and take over the business themselves.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Tom Hazard has just moved back to London, his old home, to settle down and become a high school history teacher. And on the first day, he meets a captivating French teacher at his school who seems fascinated by him. Tom does have a dangerous secret. He may look like an ordinary 41-year-old, but owing to a rare condition, he’s been alive for centuries.

The Albatross Society (the secretive group which protects people like Tom) has one rule: Never fall in love. Tom has to face obstacles from his past that try to derail his romance and he must to decide whether to remain stuck in the past, or finally begin living in the present.
