You may have heard of Naomi Novik, the author of the popular Temeraire and Scholomance series. She is no stranger to a fairy-tale retelling with her books Uprooted and Spinning Silver. The latter is the book of discussion in this episode of Maude’s Book Club! We talk about tackling fairy tales, her writing process which doesn’t include drafts, and the hardest part of this book to write. There were several connectivity and internet issues, but the episode was too good to not be released.
