Bonus Book of the Month: ‘Under the Whispering Door’ by TJ Klune
Years ago, Maude Garrett stumbled upon The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune and fell in love with his writing. It was one of Klune’s first books that Garrett wanted to do for our book club. Since then, the staff and community have picked up one of his books. We have all enjoyed his writing, and now we have decided to read Under the Whispering Door as a light bonus book for June. The term “light” is used loosely because Klune has a way of making everyone emotional.
Some of the books we do start at MBC we continue to read as Bonus Books throughout the year!
