5 Books To Get Maudivated

It is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one of the ways to end the stigma surrounding mental health is to talk about it. We mainly wanted to branch out with ‘Maude’s Book Club’ to create a safe space for everyone to talk about the books they love.

Luckily for our Patrons and Discord members, Maude Garrett has plenty of book recommendations to share with everyone.

The books listed below have been selected by Maude Garrett for this month, hoping others can find comfort in the words on the pages.

Synopsis:

Dr. Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability after 12 years of research. She argues that vulnerability is not weakness, but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.

Synopsis:

From the first page, Eckhart Tolle takes the reader to a higher altitude as you breathe a lighter air. You will become connected to the indestructible essence of your Being.

Synopsis:

James Clear reveals practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master the tiny behaviours that lead to remarkable results.

Synopsis:

Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl’s memoir has riveted generations of readers with its descriptions of life in Nazi death camps and its lessons for spiritual survival.

Synopsis:

Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love.

The conversation surrounding mental health can always help someone in need. That is why building communities are so important because everyone needs a safe space. Many can suffer through difficult times and outlets that can express those emotions are beneficial to creating a healthy mindset.
