Book Review: ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’ by Sarah J. Maas
Last October, we read the second novel in the ACOTAR series, A Court of Mist and Fury. For April, we wanted to continue in the world of fairies with A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas.
Our Discord has a Sarah J. Maas and ACOTAR channel where the MBC community has lively discussions. Come join our live book chat on Twitch so we can all gush about this series together.
The best part of the world-building in Sarah J. Maas’ novels is the deep connection to the characters that they begin to feel like family. Returning to her world is returning to familiarity and comfort.
Here is my review of Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas! Let me know how you feel in the comments below.

Book Review: ‘Ruthless Vows’ by Rebecca Ross
Our bonus book of the month was Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross!
After reading Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross in February, the MBC community needed to finish the duology. The love the MBC community had for the first novel is unmatched this year for our reading list. Ross is a beautiful writer and we were fortunate enough to have her join Maude Garrett as they discussed her Letter of Enchantment duology.

Book Review: ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’ by Sarah J. Maas
Many had fallen in love with the first book (like myself) and decided to continue the series. Since it was my first time reading a Maas series, I felt it was only right to continue to write reviews for the series. Right after I finished Divine Rivals in February, I picked up A Court of Mist and Fury. It is a lengthy book and I was intimidated, but Maas expertly builds a sequel that is better than the first.
