‘Fourth Wing’ Character Break Down
The MBC community has been having such a great time reading Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros for book club this month. Yarros has said that this first instalment to her Empyrean series is a starter book for those who want to dive into Romantasy. That being said, the characters are very likable, and all have great dynamics with one another.

Stephen King has been dubbed the “Master of Horror” because of the way he pulls readers into the horrifying world he creates. King slowly brings you into the atmosphere in his novels and has you sit with each moment he describes. You can feel everything around you while you’re lost in the pages. In 2021 Amazon Prime released the first season of The Wheel of Time. The series is set in a high fantasy world where magic exists, but only some can access it. The series is adapted from the novels written by Robert Jordan. And after his passing, Brandon Sanderson continued the series. There are roughly 14 books in the series with other spin-offs and reference books to dive into.
Here at MBC, we have been obsessed with fantasy novels for years and The Wheel of Time is one of Maude Garrett’s favourite series on Amazon Prime!

Sir Kenneth Branagh has returned with another Agatha Christie adaptation. A Haunting in Venice is based on the novel Hallowe’en Party. Branagh enjoys his mystery thrillers after his success with Murder on the Orient Express. He wanted to draw from the genius of Christie by presenting her work to the world on the big screen. According to Branagh, this film is a sequel to Death on the Nile and will have supernatural elements similar to the book.
