Maude’s Book Club became engaged with the story between Iris and Kitt because of the development of their relationship. It is enemies-to-lovers and its beautifully written passages explore one’s true self through anonymity and vulnerability.

When should Roman have told Iris?
Should Iris know that her mysterious pen pal is Roman C. Kitt? She’s read all his public work and private notes once, and is a writer herself so shouldn’t it be obvious who Carver is?
