The crisp fall air is making everyone happy! Well, at least for those who LIVE for autumn. There is a different feeling in the air once October hits and everyone has their fall traditions. If one of them is picking up a Starbucks and reading a book in the cafe or at home, then you’re doing October right.
The books on this list are paired with the autumn brews at Starbucks. Some are new, and some are classics that everyone should read at least once. Each brew is paired based on what happens in each novel, so keep this list handy.

MBC is currently reading Fairy Tale by Stephen King for book club! The month of October is meant for something spooky, and Stephen King always delivers. His books have been adapted numerous times; some adaptations are good, and some are bad. His book Pet Sematary, which is deemed one of his best has been adapted once again for Paramount Plus.

‘Fourth Wing’ Character Break Down
The MBC community has been having such a great time reading Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros for book club this month. Yarros has said that this first instalment to her Empyrean series is a starter book for those who want to dive into Romantasy. That being said, the characters are very likable, and all have great dynamics with one another.
Why You Need To Read More Stephen King Novels
Stephen King has been dubbed the “Master of Horror” because of the way he pulls readers into the horrifying world he creates. King slowly brings you into the atmosphere in his novels and has you sit with each moment he describes. You can feel everything around you while you’re lost in the pages. No matter the location, King can craft a chilling atmosphere to have readers engrossed in the journey.
If You Like ‘The Wheel of Time’ You Should Add These To Your TBR!
In 2021 Amazon Prime released the first season of The Wheel of Time. The series is set in a high fantasy world where magic exists, but only some can access it. The series is adapted from the novels written by Robert Jordan. And after his passing, Brandon Sanderson continued the series. There are roughly 14 books in the series with other spin-offs and reference books to dive into.
Here at MBC, we have been obsessed with fantasy novels for years and The Wheel of Time is one of Maude Garrett’s favourite series on Amazon Prime!
